To adjust battery plate position, loosen the thumbscrew and slide. DC Input on camera-right side can be used for hot-swapping between block battery and on-board battery. Battery Slide Pro V-Mount (Canon C300mkIII, C500mkII) utilizes a WC Pro V-Mount plate provides battery voltage to the camera through a 4pin XLR connector and features a custom Battery Slide which attaches directly to the back of the camera without rods.
