Description

The Stentor Student II 1/4 Size Violin is the ideal instrument for entry level learning. Built to be both durable and reliable, this Student Violin II feels comfortable and offers superb tone. For beginners and new violinists, this 1/4 size outfit is a fantastic choice. Body Construction The Stentor Student II model is exquisitely carved from solid tonewoods for a long-lasting feel. With a carved spruce front and carved maple back and ribs, the violin has a luxury feel and appearance despite its reasonable price. The combination of spruce and maple contributes to its range of tones and resonance, making it a top instrument to learn on. Neck The violin is fitted with a carved maple neck which offers a smooth feel in the hand as you make your way along. Topping the neck is a ebony fingerboard for a traditional and comfortable playing surface. Hardware is well-constructed, consisting of ebony pegs and a composite tailpiece with integral adjusters. The bridge retains a firm connection between the spruce front and the strings for a well-balanced sound output. Stentor also add in a well-built student wood bow made using natural horsehair and full mounted ebony frog and rope core strings that connects perfectly with the strings when you play. A resilient, lightweight case with burgundy red integral cover and safety reflectors is also included to protect the violin wherever you take it, perhaps from the house to your lesson.
