Altra Men's Timp 2 Dark Red/Orange - 12

Description

This is meant to promote better alignment and a more natural posture while on the move which in turn lessens impact. This design lets your big toe remain in a straight position while allowing your other toes to spread naturally. The MaxTrac rubber outsole has a tacky surface and a multi-directional lug pattern that together deliver traction regardless of terrain. It has enhanced durability at the toe and heel and strategic overlays bolster overall durability and enhance midfoot supportiveness. A deep EVA foam midsole delivers comfort while still providing responsiveness. This broader cut reduces the risk of bunions, hammer toes, and plantar fasciitis. As with all Altra Running shoes, it has a FootShape toe box that differs greatly from the aggressive taper of traditional running shoes. Providing soft moderate-to-high cushioning, responsive performance, and confident traction, the Altra Running Men’s Timp 2 trail running shoe checks all the boxes for long-distance running and everyday trail training. Streamlined lacing allows for simple and effective fit micro-adjustments. The shoe has a stack height of 29 mm and weighs in at 19.8 ounces per pair. The shoe also utilizes a Zero Drop platform (height of the heel and the forefront are the same) that encourages a natural stride rather than elevating the heel or manipulating foot position. An integrated GaiterTrap allows for the easy attachment of Altra gaiters (sold separately).
